Kuwaiti Prime Minister in Baghdad next month to discuss removing Iraq from Chapter VII

Kuwait’s ambassador to the insured, Wednesday, Prime
Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak will visit Baghdad next
month to discuss the talks to remove Iraq from Chapter VII.

demarcation of the border and work of the Joint Commission,” pointing
out that “the visit will address progress in talks to remove Iraq from

He insured that “the visit
would also discuss operational details of joint oil on the border
between the two countries and the possibility of cooperation across the
joint-stock companies, which have been agreed earlier in the year

extraction and the division of resources in proportion to the space
involved in oil wells border “.
He pointed out that “the visit will be discussed with regard to the great ports of Basra and the Kuwaiti port of Mubarak and end the confusion about the impact of winning each and every one of them, the other negatively.”
It is noteworthy that the UN Security Council issued in 1993
Resolution No. 833 which provides for the demarcation of the border
between Iraq and Kuwait, and the extended length of about 216 km, and
led the implementation of resolution partially under the previous regime
to deduct large swathes of Iraqi territory and annex it to Kuwaiti
